Planning your essayOnce you have articulated your position you should be able to map out a plan for your essay, organise your argument and evidence, and establish connections between your points. Not all students, however, will develop a detailed plan of their essay. While some students work effectively with a fully worked-through essay plan, complete with sub-topics and the connections between the topics identified, others may work effectively with just a series of headings guiding them.
