In University and work environments, it is often the case that regardless of the intrinsic worth of your ideas or arguments, unless they are clearly expressed and easy to follow, little value will be placed on them.

Being able to write your ideas effectively, in a cohesive manner, may break this cycle because readers of your work will have the satisfaction of understanding your argument and you will have the satisfaction of having your argument understood!
