Another example of using demonstratives

Here is another example where demonstratives have been used to refer back to whole idea units presented within the text:

While Case's argument is convincing and insightful, she fails to bring to light any clear evidence to support her points. This can be seen as a major flaw in the validity of the text. Additionally, she uses some highly emotive language and has included several anecdotes that have a persuasive effect, however these techniques are inappropriate for academic writing.

It is clear to the reader what the demonstratives refer to in this passage:
