Logical Structure
Introduction|Macro Features|Micro Features|Summary

The main sections of the text should develop the material in a logical and coherent manner, reflecting the structure outlined in the introduction or the topic sentence of the piece of text.

Achieving logic and coherence depends on moving from one topic to another in a logical sequence.

Make sure you include:

bulletClear statements on the relationships between topics

and

bulletThe order you then go on to present your points (using legitimate paragraphs) follows the order of these initial statements

This allows the logical sequence of the text to be clearly visible to the reader.
